This image, titled: "Delivering a Computer in 1957"  was widely covered in the press and elsewhere that the Norfolk Record Office (U.K.) purchased the first computer of it’s kind in 1957. Purchased to handle payroll and rate system, the Elliott 405 was ordered in February of that year and turned on at a demonstration for the Lord Mayor of Norwich
