The David Rumsey Historical Map Collection physically resides at Stanford University, but we have access to much of the collection online. It includes "atlases, gloves, school geographies, maritime charts." Check out: childrens' maps for some interesting maps drawn by children, but also for children. All of these maps can provide interesting discussions and investigations on place, perspectives about place, and movements of peoples across time and place.
